*Basic Description

This is a mini stool made from a filament spool.

The following considerations were made when designing this product.

  1. Utilize empty filament spools
  2. Easy to store when not in use
  3. Adaptable to various types of spools
  4. True to its basic function

After several trials and errors, the uploaded model was created.

Although there are still minor inconveniences, I believe its actual usability is sufficient.

*Stool Specifications

Stool height: Approximately 247mm (Varies depending on the spool used)

Load capacity: No issues when supporting 73kg during stress tests. I believe it can also handle 100kg without problems.

*Print File Description

  1. SPOOL_STOOL_ALL.3mf file: Contains all components. Just print it as is and use it with the appropriate spool. Highly recommended.
  2. STANDARD: Includes one LEG and a basic RING. You can print 3 copies of the LEG. This is the basic component.
  3. OPTION LEG: Use if the spool width is smaller than the standard. For reference, BAMBULAB(PLA) has an actual width of 59mm, but the 60mm STANDARD LEG fits well.
  4. ADD RINGS: These are rings that attach additionally to the BASIC RING depending on the type of spool. Products from 3 companies are uploaded.

To fit your spool, you need to measure the inner diameter of the central hole and the width (where the filament is wound) of the spool.

Some spools are provided (BAMBULAB, STING3D, E-SUN), and ADD RINGs for these should be printed.

If you're lucky, it can be assembled with just the BASIC RING, without any ADD RINGs.

Due to differences in shrinkage rates depending on the filament type and printing environment, slight variations (in assembly) may occur when actually printed.

The filament in the photos used E-SUN's PLA+.

Assemble it to use as a stool, and for storage, you can insert it between spools in a triangular shape to hang it on a wall or stand it upright.

Hope you enjoy using it :)
