Basic parametric 90°bracket for systemprofile
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is my parametric design for a simple angled bracked with the main purpose of being used with aluminium system profiles by bosch or item. Since the outside corners are flat the bracket may be turned perpendicular to the profile if needed.
The parametric design also offers a slot instead of the usual holes in order to provide increased versatility, the length of the slot is determined by the oberall length of the bracket.
To make your own custom size multiple parameters are aviable to adjust the bracket to your needs:
- system: Refers to the basic system being used. If you have a 30x60 profile the system is 30, for 40x120 its 40, for 90x180 its 45, …
- slot: Refers to both the slot on the profile used as well as the width of the slot of the bracket
- length: Refers to the overall length of the bracket
- thickness: Refers to the thickness of the bracket itself
- widthMultiplier: Refers to the mutiplied with of the used system. If you have a 30x60 profile and you want a 60 mm wide bracket, use system 30 with widthMultiplier 2.
Using washers under the screwhead to spread forces makes the bracket more durable.
This Bracket is meant for light load only, for a stronger version look at my Reinforced parametric 90°bracket for systemprofile.
You want a solid print, so choose a high number of walls. If you want the strongest version you will have to lay the bracket on its side and print with support, depending on the length of the slot.
