Leftover Egg

Description

The Remnant Egg
My idea addresses a common problem in 3D printing: the last remnants of filament. Often, only a few grams remain – too little for larger projects, but too valuable to throw away. I want to make good use of precisely these small quantities
For this, I designed a decorative Easter egg, which is specifically printed from various filament remnants. Since I work with a Bambu Lab A1 Mini without automatic color changing, I interrupt the print at specific points and manually change the filament. This way, even the smallest leftover pieces can be used one after another

This creates a unique, multicolored object where each egg is one of a kind. My approach shows that sustainable 3D printing does not have to be complicated, but can be effectively implemented with simple means and some planning
I am curious to see how you like the idea and what approaches you might develop further from it. Show it with your comment or like.
