Description

Heavy duty hinges designed with the 3D printer in mind.

 

IMPORTANT! These hinges are not print in place, you have to hammer the pin in. This has three significant advantages.

  • This hinge is stronger than a PIP hinge. it can take the weight of a cabinet door.
  • This hinge can be lubricated before assebly, allowing a smooth operation and limited wear over time.
  • This hinge has a much tighter fit with no play, making it actually useful for precise applications.

The holes are made for panhead screws so you can tighten them without the risk of splitting the piece. it also separates the stress from the clamping and the load.
