Universal window wedge
Print Profile(1)

Description
I designed this wedge prototype to hold a window sash open. Its design accounts for the strike plate seal, with a universal gap to prevent any crushing risk.
The part securing the sash features grooves, providing a simple and effective grip.
I intentionally designed a slightly wider wheelbase to allow adaptation to several known supports, whether straight, angled, or of different configurations.
The prototype incorporates a honeycomb-type internal structure that I designed to ensure optimal cooling of the part while guaranteeing very high solidity. An adhesive felt pad was added to the part in contact with the door frames to protect them, although it is not essential for operation.
Finally, the angle of the lower part allows adaptation to a wide range of windows.
The model is made of PLA-CF, in jean blue color, and printed on a Bambu Lab.
