Windicator

Description
This is a windicator which I use for my PRS spotter setup. It is basically a wind vane which i use to find the winds direction.
required is a round 2 8x3 magnets which I use for the connector and in the tail section. this is so that I can break it down and put in my pack during matches.
I use an arrow shaft which has a diameter of about 7.8mm I cut two pieces at about 4-5 inches each. I then super glue the shaft into the nose cone. Then I connect that shaft which has the nose cone into the round dome body. The fit should be tight but I suggest superglue just to make it a permanent connection. I then install the magnet into the connector and one on the tail fin section. Be concious of the polarity of the magnets so that they attract each other. Insert the remaining shaft into the connector (Superglue) and the other end into the dome body (super glue also) . Finally install a 608 Skate bearing into the dome body. You can also do this step first. The bearing adapter should slip into the bearing and should spin freely. After testing that, install a ¼-20 heat insert so that you can mount this on a tripod or plate that takes a ¼ -20 Connection.
