T12 shell

The materials needed are the ones shown in the images above; one of each will suffice. If you don’t have a soldering iron and want to DIY this, you can buy a cheap, generic one on Pinxixi, or follow the procedure shown in the images above. If you do this, make sure the soldering iron’s power supply is around 12V; don’t use a higher voltage, because it will get red-hot too quickly. Also, don’t hold it for too long, as this lacks temperature control and could easily burn the iron. When holding the iron tip, try to hold it near the top to avoid burning your hand. For beginners, a small tip is recommended.
