Double Halberds from Romance of the Three Kingdoms - Dian Wei
Chief of Cao Cao's personal guard, he possessed a powerful physique and extraordinary arm strength. His weapon weighed up to 40kg, with the right halberd weighing 41 jin and the left halberd 39 jin. It is the only weapon in "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" with its weight clearly recorded in historical accounts
In 197 AD, Zhang Xiu feigned surrender to Cao Cao and had Dian Wei's weapons stolen. To protect Cao Cao, Dian Wei stood firm at the camp gate, sustaining over ten severe wounds. He continued to fight fiercely, using the bodies of two enemies as weapons, and the enemies dared not advance. Ultimately, Dian Wei died from exhaustion, glaring and cursing fiercely
The weapons are distinguished between left and right, with the heavier one for the right hand
