Sphere Dock is a thoughtfully designed phone stand that blends minimalist design principles with tactile function. Inspired by the Apple HomePod and the timeless simplicity of Braun's design language, this spherical stand is a sculptural addition to any space — clean, quiet, and functional.
Designed with an angled surface for ideal viewing and a soft, grippy texture for MagSafe or friction-based resting, Sphere Dock holds your device securely while elevating your setup’s aesthetic.
Print Details:
- 🕒 Expect long print times — the full-body sphere and precision features require patience but reward you with a refined finish.
- 🧶 Required print setting: Make sure to enable Fuzzy Skin at 0.3 mm for both X/Y and Z axes. This is essential to recreate the intended texture and grip.
- ⚠️ Fit note: Your phone will require some force to insert and remove — this is intentional to ensure a secure and satisfying hold.
Material Suggestions:
- Matte PLA or textured PETG to complement the dock’s industrial yet warm aesthetic.
- TPU is not recommended due to loss of structural grip.
