If you like my stuff, its free to use, if you really like its, your boost is also free :p
A cool idea I haven’t seen much of yet is a 3D-printed volcano, so I decided to make one! It’s a low-poly design, but the imperfections give it a unique charm.
This print takes over a day on high-quality settings to ensure it’s watertight.
Watertight, you ask?
Yep! That means you can use it for fun experiments like a soda pop volcano or even add a vaporizer to make it look like it’s smoking!
Here’s a fun experiment to try:
- Print the Vulcano: use all your rest fillament… or whatever collor you want to use. i took yellow because its was bad fillamant.
- Add the Ingredients: Pour baking soda into the crater, then add a few drops of food coloring and some liquid soap. Mix it well.
- Make it Erupt: Pour in some vinegar (acetic acid) and watch the eruption!
How does it work?
Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) reacts with vinegar, releasing carbon dioxide gas. The gas makes the liquid soap foam up, creating the erupting lava effect!
Chemical reaction:
NaHCO₃ + CH₃COOH → CH₃COONa + CO₂ + H₂ONaHCO₃ + CH₃COOH → CH₃COONa + CO₂ + H₂O
Bonus Idea:
Pop a vaporizer into the crater, and you’ll have a smoking volcano for a super cool effect! there is all ready a tube forseen for the cable,
alse it act like a side spout if you use soda or bakingsoda :p
