Printed two of these for my grandkids. The hinges are a great idea but require quite a bit of cleaning up to make them functional. They. I’ve up and down easily but will not close without binding without the cleanup

A little rough on the tops. Reprinted with a few tweaks and it looks a little better.

Awesome print. I’ve tinkered with my ironing and it looks like glass.

I printed this several times adjusting the settings each time. I scaled it up 200% and used concentric infill. The purpose was for a bumper on a sharp edge in a tight spot that I would frequently bump my head on. I worked with layers and speed until getting it almost to the same feel as the ear pad on a set of headphones.

PETG is a bit glossy so I had to scuff it a bit to reduce glare. fit is great.

the only change I would like to see is for supports on the latch for the bottom. the lid has supports but it only means a few loose threads to be cut off. Other than that, it’s perfect.

awesome profile. flat pla+ with supports. the part came off the heat bed so easy and the supports stayed on the bed. couldn’t ask for any better.

perfect print. I used pla+ for the box and pla silk for the lettering. Positive catch on lid prevents accidental opening. Now off to do all my calibers.

Extremely heavy and rigid. Rod was 1” from home improvement store and fit snugly. Uses a lot of filament and will probably build another set when I have the time and filament to spare.
