I designed a Gridfinity top plate for my X2D to organize some easy access things, and made it compatible to be useable while also using an AMS Flipper.

Sometimes instead of re-inventing the whole wheel, making an adapter insert is a great way to add modularity to things. In this case, I love the Gridfinity pliers holder designed by @Ryan Meredith, but I wish it could also hold a few pens and tweezers. So, I designed an insert adapter that does just that. It slots into place to work with the pliers holder, and now my tweezers and pens can sit right there alongside the pliers.

I love a good fitting snap-fit connection.

I designed a new mount for the Filament Track Switch for the X2D which is compatible with the AMS Flipper by @Jakob_K_Design! I also made a new AMS-HT side mount for the X2D/P2S frame compatible with the AMS Flipper mounted on it and designed it in a way that is cross-compatible with this mount by having a cutout at the right location. Now here comes my baseplates that are compatible and designed for my cardboard spool core storage system to make stacking in groups a thing.

Printed a very neat model from another user yesterday to mount my AMS-HT right next to my AMS on top of my printer using a bracket that hooks in with the Flipper mount. Unfortunately, I wasn't quite sure if the rather long mount will withhold prolonged use with only being held from the back. But maker brain and a few minutes of measuring and modelling and ta-da, a quick support bracket is made and now it's rock solid.

I designed a USB Flash Drive protector for my new X2D as I'm using a PNY Elite-X Fit USB Flash Drive, which has a smaller form factor than some of the other models out there on Makerworld. The model is curve based and does not come off accidentally. For convenience I modelled a small lifting ridge at the back side that allows easy intentional removal.

I put a good bit of thought into this system. It helps recycle the filament cardboard cores that come with the filament of some manufacturers like Bambu or SUNLU that use 88mm cores. I am currently working on extending it with some base plates to combine multiple containers onto a tray which opens up a lot of opportunities. #Hostedbycreator #Filamentrecycling#Contests(Edited)

I did some heavy testing on bridging to optimize my settings and find the right combination of bridge flow and speed for my printer and filament setup. Sharing it for the community in the hopes it may be helpful for others to dial in their settings.
