this fits PERFECTLY inside the cup holder of my 2017 explorer and also my 2022 explorer, where it’s slightly more loose than the 2017 explorer because the parts Ford uses inside the stock 2022 cup holder don’t provide as much grip to objects inside of the cup holder. highly recommend this to anyone who like me had to deal with Nalgene (and Nalgene sized) bottles falling out constantly due to the undersized stock cup holders. this is a great solution that looks great too!
