Ran into a dilemma mounting my Swedish small format license plate to a vehicle with US mounting holes. I had two options- 1. Mount using the top two holes and leave the bottom two visible since the EU plate is shorter, or 2. "Pin" the license plate against my trunk using the screws and US license plate frame. Option 1 was secure but ugly and option 2 was cleaner but not stable. This solved both problems!
