These printed nicely other than just a tad bit of stringing, which was perhaps of my own doing being a newcomer to TPU. Despite that very minor issue I love these for a reference tool of both infill patterns as well as the “squish test” aspect. I ran a set at 15% infill, 25%, and I’ll eventually run a 7% and a 50% to have a nice range of examples. Thanks for making these!

Quite literally rating the profile as I never printed the Benchy, just hijacked the settings for my first time printing TPU. I used Gizmo Dorks white TPU and other than dialing in the filament a little (used Genric TPU filament profile and eventually lowered temps to 210 for the first layer and 205 for all other layers). Everything went flawlessly, no stringing or globbing, and I beleive it helped me bypass a ton of learning curve and headache while trying out one of the most notoriously difficult filaments.

So good. This will go great in any number of absurd locations. Looks quite convincing at a glance using .4mm nozzle and I suspect a .2mm would be even better.
Follow the assembly instructions. I made assumptions when I first pulled it off the plate and thought it did not look or feel convincing. Wheb assembled correctly the click sound and physical sensation is very good.

Obviously an awesome conversation piece and party trick. Prints great. Hopefully I’m correct in thinking ASA-CF is overkill? Printed from Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 and it seems sturdy enough for its purpose. The TPU pad is not very soft if printed in 95A with the profile settings. I recommend one wall and a 5-7% infill if you want a softer landing.

These are great and work as expected. I strongly suggest increasing the support interface gaps with the .8 mm nozzle as they are quite literally impossible to remove on the four I printed.

The front hole is very tight and either your dowel or the print is likely to need a little sanding if using 1” dowels, but the design is super sturdy and prints nicely. I look forward to the excuse to buy filament to fill any empty slots.

The print profile is (mostly) fine. The holder is aesthetically pleasing. I don’t have any regrets, but I do have some design critiques- the vertical piece could stand to be slightly thicker; it works and is sturdy, but just feels a bit flimsy. I also had to wrestle with it a bit harder than I would have liked to get the two pieces to snap together (see the vertical bit feeling flimsy). If I were to change any of the settings it would be dropping the layer height for the vertical bit; my layer adhesion was just barely passable using white Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 (it almost looked like fuzzy skin was turned on), and I’d blame the filament itself except I ran this immediately after another large and flawless print with the same filament and settings.

I have chronically dry sinuses and I still adore everything about this design. Printed beautifully and lets us give the finger to big brother, win-win. It doesn’t hurt that it’s the best cover page on all of MakerWorld. I’ll be printing more of these in solidarity with my comrades.

Brilliant. I have a year round ant problem and have to treat regularly with “the good stuff” (Borax, sugar, water mix, aka DIY Terro) to even touch them. I had been sticking cotton balls on top of card stock, but it always soaks through and gets sticky residue everywhere. These solve that problem, print super fast, are easier to move around, and are cheap enough to be disposable.

I was pretty skeptical of this and other print profiles that deploy this stringy tactic in their design, but this is actually a surprisingly decent little hand broom and it printed flawlessly. I suspect you could also use these as a texturing brush for paint and crafting projects. Great print and I’m sure I’ll make more as I find uses.

Hi! I'm new to joining the contests hosted here and made my first entry. I actually have two models I'd like to enter, and the rule's state I can submit up to five, but I can't seem to figure out how to enter additional models. Anybody able to help me out here?

Top notch. The supports can be a little ornery and weave their way in and out of the netting, even fully growing around to engulf it in areas, so you’ll need to take your time doing the post processing with a bit of care, but the model is great and prints very nicely.

Printed the lid with translucent PLA at 235 C .28 layer height, no infill, and single walls- it came out so clear an exactly how you’d hope. Unfkrtunstely that leaves me unable to comment on the designer profile settings. The tools are nice and sturdy using the designer’s profile. This whole system makes it very apparent that the brains behind this design plants lots of seeds as it is well thought out around solving the frustrating bits (seed funnel for the win!).

Some models have an extra layer of fineness- smooth, aesthetically pleasing, prints without cause for worry, and feels more like a quality product you bought than a flimsy print. This is one of those models. I did the base with 4 walls to ensure it doesn’t seep water out over time. I did my lid in translucent PLA with one wall and no infill for maximum clarity. It came out great and I think I’ll be using this for quite some time.

Works great, clean design that mounts in any orientation or works as a standalone rack, and matches the console’s aesthetic.
