Hello, I'm LeopardGeckoGuy. I started my 3d printing journey in 2022 with a Flashforge Adventurer 3. And since then I have grown to having 2 Bambu Lab A1 Mini’s, a Bambu Lab A1, and my Flashforge. I have a leopard gecko named Skittles (which is why I chose the name LeopardGeckoGuy), and I also have a golden lab, Trixie. I started making models a couple years ago using Tinkercad. So I’m still trying to learn and improve. I mainly use Fusion360 to design now, but l still use Tinkercad every once in a while. I upload occasionally. Follow to know when I do!

Day 3: Sorry I haven’t updated in a bit. I’ve been working on the guitar for the past 3 days and here’s what I’ve gotten it to. The rest of the filament I needed came on Saturday and I got all the rest of the parts printed, I mounted the neck on to the body, mounted the jack to the body, and prepared to add strings to the neck. I’m going to be on vacation for the next week or so. So this will be my last update for a while. Follow so you don’t miss out on the next update!

Day 2 of making the Prusacaster! Today the kit from Amazon came so now all I’m waiting on is the filament I need. I’ve started printing all the parts I can without that filament and so far so good. Follow for day 3!

Hey Makerworld! I know it’s been a bit. Life gets busy. But I thought I’d share this project I’m currently working on! I’m making my own Prusacaster! And if you don’t know what that is it’s a 3d printed electric guitar. I’ll be sharing my progress day by day. So here’s day 1: I ordered all the stuff I needed. I ordered an alternative kit off Amazon so I wouldn’t have to pay a crap ton in shipping fees for the original recommended kit. And I also ordered some filament for the actual parts. The Amazon kit is scheduled to arrived tomorrow and the filament to arrive 2 days later. Follow for day 2!

Hey fellow makers, tinkerers, creators, etc. I’m sure some of you already know, but in case you didn’t, California just passed a bill restricting 3D printing by requiring 3D printing companies to install software which limits the printing of “ghost guns”. However, this has many flaws and if it becomes anything more, will harm 3D printing as a hobby. I invite everyone reading this to check out 3DPrintingNerd's video on it and send an email to the creator of the bill Rebecca Bauer-Kahan (contact information in the video description). And if you don’t want to do that, at least like or repost this to help spread awareness. Together as a community, we can do this!

After 11 days of waiting my TPU 90A came! I’ll be using it to print @CloudBerry’s Whaleberry shoes. Let me know if you have any tips or tricks I should know about before I print in the comments below. 👇

Just ordered some new filament! I plan on using the TPU 90A and shoelaces to make @CloudBerry’s Whaleberry shoes. And I was able to buy all of that practically for free thanks to everyones support. Thanks again and happy Valentine’s Day!
