the print turned out well. I turned off supports, added a 1.6mm high, 30mm length, 12mm wide cuboid in front of the gap for the key, with a gap between the pieces, so it didnt interact with the cover and added a pause on layer 20, in order to be able to place the key in place and print it around it. The first attempt at this the filament did not stick to the key as could be expected, but adding masking tape to the top side of the key that will be printed onto, as well as cutting off excess and placing the key on the heated bed while the first part printed allowed it to heat correctly and the filament stuck where it was meant to with problem. The printer moves the key slightly, as my keys were slightly taller than the gap, so it tilted up away from the cuboid, but honestly it turns out pretty well, and by the third key the cover didnt even move in relation to the key, and doesnt require removing any support material.
