3-Legged Stool
Print Profile(1)

Description
Design
- Materials - This design requires three 24" long 1¼" dowel rods. I purchased these from The Home Depot and cut them in half, so I was able to make two stools with three of them. They are toleranced to the ones I bought, but they are not press-fit. If you try to use a different brand and it doesn't go in, let me know and I'll make another print profile for that brand.
- Strength - It is held together with gravity and pressure. When the step is pressed down, it tightens the entire stool. This is an age-old design that I brought to the the 3d-printer.
Note: I ran out of white filament just before I finished the print, so that's why the bottom of the step is tan-colored.
Assembly
- Turn the top upside down
- Set the step on top of it upside down
- Put the legs into the holes
- Turn the whole thing right-side-up
- Press the step down until the stool is firm
