Description
"Leaf" Cutter and Embosser for Polymer Clay Jewelry
2-in-1 tool designed for creating polymer clay jewelry (Fimo, Cernit, Sculpey, etc.). The model is structured with a height difference:
- The outer perimeter, higher and refined, allows for a clean cut of the shape.
- The inner edges, set back, act as a stamp (embosser) to trace the veins of the pattern directly into the clay without cutting it. (2mm)
This shell-shaped or Art Deco fan design is ideal for creating textured earrings or pendants.
Recommended print settings: To ensure the sharpness of the cutting edge and the cleanliness of the inner impression, the print profile must be precise.
- Layer height: 0.16 mm or 0.12 mm (to refine the outer cutting edge).
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm (a 0.2 mm nozzle will offer even greater precision).
- Perimeters/Walls: Minimum 2 to 3 to ensure rigidity under pressure.
- Supports: None.
- Material: PLA or PETG.
- Wall generator: Arachne. The model is optimized for the Arachne engine, which dynamically adjusts the extrusion width to ensure the thin cutting walls are fine and strong.
Usage tip: Due to the narrow parts of the inner pattern, the clay may tend to stick. For easy release without deformation, dip the cutter in cornstarch (Maïzena) and tap to remove excess before each use. Press evenly so that the pattern is properly imprinted over the entire surface.
