Modular Tiered Stand – Product Documentation
Concept & Design
This storage system is fully modular and was specially developed for the flexible storage of fruits and foodstuffs. The design allows the tiered stand to be individually adjusted in height and number of tiers using simple plug-in connections.
• Base: Post shoes ensure a secure and non-slip stand.
• Modules: Variably usable supports (short/long) allow for individual tier spacing.
• Baskets: Ventilated basket segments with optimized grid bottoms prevent waterlogging and pressure marks.
• Material: The system is optimized for printing with PETG to ensure high mechanical load capacity and durability.
Safety Note: Food Safety
Although PETG can generally be considered food-safe, the actual properties of the final product largely depend on the manufacturing process:
• Process-specific characteristic: It is an object manufactured using 3D printing (FDM process).
• Hygiene Note: Due to layer formation (layer lines), bacteria or mold cultures can accumulate in the microscopic gaps if moisture or fruit acids escape.
• Recommendation: For maximum hygiene, storing fruit with a natural protective skin or using a thin liner is recommended.
