Sitting Mouse

This little rodent is a detailed decorative model of a sitting mouse holding something in its paws. The figure is fully closed and printed as a single piece – no assembly required.

The mouse features sculpted paws, ears and facial details, plus a long curved tail that runs close to the build plate. This keeps the model easy to print despite the fine features. Perfect as a desk ornament, printer mascot or collectible figure in different sizes. It also works great as a fun gag or April Fools’ prank – for example hiding in the fridge or placed next to a pizza box.

Print recommendations

  • Material: PLA or any filament that captures detail well
  • Layer height: 0.12–0.20 mm (for very fine details use 0.12–0.16 mm)
  • Infill: 10–15% is sufficient
  • Perimeters: 2–3 walls for sturdy ears and tail
  • Supports: usually not required depending on slicer settings; if you see issues at the paws or tail tip, enable light supports “touching build plate only”
  • Brim/Raft: a small brim is optional to secure the long tail

The model scales very well – tiny as a cute mini print or larger as a striking display piece. It already looks nice in a single color, but with paint the details of fur, eyes and paws really come to life.
