Description
This version is outdated and has a number of problems. I do not recommend assembling it — only for reference. A second version is currently being actively prepared and tested, which has a lower center of gravity, proper suspension, and tuning capabilities. The list of hardware and the overall architecture remain the same, but there are very many small changes.
ARC28 - AWD 1/28 Scale Chassis
- Optimized for FDM 3D printing.
- Single belt drive system (inspired by the Tamiya TA07).
- Compatible with 1410 and 1525 brushless motors.
- Compatible with AFRC D1706MG servo and similar-sized models.
- Fits the Gaoneng 350mAh battery.
- Rear toe-in: 3 degrees.
- Front caster: 0 or 3 degrees (adjustable).
- Adjustable ride height.
- Integrated belt tensioning system.
- Simple double-wishbone suspension.
- Compatible with Jomurema body shells.
- Recommended minimum front wheel offset: +1.5mm.
