Description

The Rose Lamp

This is a lamp i built using red Translucent PLA for the rose and PLA Wood for the base. It integrates Bambulab's LED Lamp Kit to provide a cozy red hue when in function.

Assembly

The lamp is composed of 3 parts (Rose, Bottom base and Top base) which must be assembled as follows:

  1. Remove the supports from the the holes in the bottom base. Using pliers makes this way easier, another way is by inserting something pointy from the top down to dislodge the support;
  2. Take the LED puck and the 2 included 3x16mm screws then insert the puck in the bottom base, take the top part and close it up making sure to align the hole for the cable;
  3. Insert the screws in the bottom base and tight them well to secure the two halves;
  4. Finally insert the rose in the base, orient it as you prefer and, if you want, secure it to the top part with some glue

Notes

  • It also works for similar LED kit you can buy, for instance, on Amazon but they must have the same dimensions (60mm x 8mm). Also remember you need two 3x16mm screws that may not be included in alternative kits.
