Groove Clock

A grooved clock design with a modern feel.

For use with the clock kit in Maker's Supply. The hardware will be a snug fit, so the gasket, washer, and nut shouldn't be needed.

You can use the second hand included in the kit or leave it off. I haven't been able to get my own second hand to print consistently well, since the details are very fine (I left it in the 3mf as non-printable if you'd like to try). I've had a little luck with https://makerworld.com/en/models/1076742-bambu-lab-clock-second-hand, but it's a bit short for this clock.

I included two print profiles. Because of the curved nature of the face, hiding the layer lines can be a bit tricky. The “high quality” profile uses a few tricks to give a more subtle appearance, but significantly increases the print time. Since the aesthetics of the layer lines are subjective, I included a profile without these tricks. Printing with matte or marble PLA will also help hide the lines.
