A socket to attach a wooden broom handle to a wooden brush head. There are four 3mm diameter screw holes to attach the socket to the broom head plus another angled 3mm hole for a longer screw to pass through the wooden broom handle and obliquely into the broom head.
It's designed such that the broom handle must pass right through the hole in the bottom into a socket in the broom head itself. Without this the model is likely to break in use.
The socket is 25.3mm in diameter. If your handle is too loose then you can, to a limited extent, wrap adhesive tape around the end to make it fit the socket more securely.
When printed in TPU it's very secure. In fact the slightly elastic nature gives it an element of shock absorption if you inadvertently bang the broom head into something. If you print it in other materials then it will most likely break with very little provocation.
The socket is oriented 10 degrees from vertical which matched the original.
I can produce other socket sizes if people have broom handles with differing diameters.
Do get in touch if you have any ideas for changes or variations to the models.
I can also create Fusion 360 models that will become your property.
