#PrintClinic Hello, I am trying to print jewelry using Silk PLA+ on a Smooth PEI plate, but I'm having some issues with the first layer/bottom surface and visible print lines. The Problems: - Gaps on the bottom: The bottom surface sometimes has small holes or gaps between the lines (it doesn't look like a solid, smooth sheet). - Visible print lines: While the top surface looks okay, the bottom surface shows very distinct print lines instead of a flawless, shiny finish. Since I am making jewelry, the bottom surface needs to look as perfect and smooth as possible. I have attached a screenshot of my current slicer settings. What adjustments should I make to fix these gaps and get a perfectly fused, smooth bottom layer with Silk+ PLA? Setup Details: - Printer: Bambu Lab A1 with AMS Lite - Filament: Silk+ PLA (Flow ratio filament 0.95) - Build Plate: Smooth PEI Thanks in advance for the help!(Edited)

@waylaidwanderer Welcome to the Print Clinic! Let's get your printer back to full health and printing perfect jewelry. To give you the most accurate diagnosis, we need to see what the patient looks like. Could you share a clear, close-up photo of the bottom surface of one of your prints showing the gaps and lines? Seeing the actual first layer will help us determine if your nozzle is printing slightly too far from the bed, or if we need to look at adjusting your flow or bed temperature.
