@Oreo51 I’m a model creator (and an experienced board game designer). I will use 20 red LED lights and 20 green LED lights to make a BOARD GAME. The game is a mix between four-in-a-row and memory. It is played on a grid of 8x5. Players get their own set of pieces (i.e. red and green), the thing is: FROM THE OUTSIDE THESE PIECES LOOK IDENTICAL EXCEPT WHEN THE LIGHTS INSIDE THE PIECE TURN ON!!! So the game is played blind, until the board is placed on the base that contains the inductive coil, then the pieces light up and the players can see how they did. This reveal happens at the end of the game (to determine the final score). However, also during the game a player can choose to have the pieces light up (without the other player seeing them due to a shielding device that comes with the game): but this peeking goes at the cost of points. This 3D printed game will be a fun mix between strategy and memory, with a unique twist of glowing pieces! Very much looking forward to making this happen!

@TheDadaBricks i am a model creator. my idea is to use the inductive coil as a parking aid. create a small pad that will illuminate once you reach the exact spot to park in your garage to prevent and damage to the garage walls or your vehicle.

@Bright03_3D I’m a model creator What I want to create: A micro-scale, minimalist architectural modular building set. Users construct sleek, custom desktop cityscapes and magical castles. The general form or function of the model: The foundation is a grid baseplate housing a large transmitter coil underneath, creating a hidden power grid. The blocks are 10mm shapes connecting via precision gravity pegs (no magnets, avoiding coil interference). Receiver LEDs sit inside special 10x10mm pieces like glowing onion domes, sharp crenellated towers, and multi-tiered pastel roofs. Why Wireless Inductive Coil Kit is essential to my idea: Traditional wiring for a 10mm grid is nearly impossible. More importantly, wiring modular blocks that are "free" to be placed anywhere cannot be done. This kit makes it seamless. Because the transmitter spans the base, builders can drop a glowing piece anywhere on the grid and have it instantly illuminate, turning a static building set into a magical, interactive puzzle.

@Bright03_3D Just a quick note on the inspiration behind this! This idea actually sparked while I was scrolling through the Wireless Inductive Coil kit's product page and watched the assembly video for the Glimmer Garden Diorama. Seeing the way the LEDs slowly light up as they move closer to the coil was such a mesmerizing effect. It made me realize I had to specifically use that feature—lighting up only when placed close enough—to create a truly interactive and dynamic experience, rather than just ordinary, static object.

@undeadriot I'm a model creator. I am currently working on a bookshelf buddy of Kaladin Stormblessed from the Stormlight Archive. The model it the pivot point at the beginning of his journey, and the moment the cemented this character and series as my favorite. I have already completed the model. I'm working on incorporating leds and a base for to house the electronics. I intend to use inductive led so the Kaladin can be lifted and interacted with, after which you can place him back on his base and have the led light back up. The initial model has already be given ample attention from the fan base with over 3k likes and numerous comments on a Facebook fan group. Adding this led effects will really bring this model to life. Although it can be done through wired means, wired leds means interacting with the bookshelf buddy would be minimal. https://makerworld.com/en/models/2707850-one-more-try-kaladin-cosmere-bookshelf-buddy#profileId-2999832

@Xiphos44 I am a model creator. Help me light these bad boys up. I think they will go off! I already have the dragon (without the lights) published. I’d light these base up, the eyes and the mouth and the logo on the chest. There would be 20 to collect. You need to make a yellow or gold LED!

@avaloonunder I’m a model creator. I would like to create a table top scene where you can place miniatures in the middle, focused for role play games. So for example, it the enemy gets into action, once the master sets into the board some lights will turn on increasing the scene ambience. The same way when the party finds an important NPC it will light up receiving the party. The floor can be a tile floor to allow combat movement, and will hold the inductive coil. The idea is to allow the users to be able to disassemble the leds or strips on the minis to be able to change the ambience as please. It will also great to have it ready for "The Breach" Design Contest, will absolutely fit in there. Here just a mock up to figure out.

@ffleury Or maybe even pop tarts, jack skellington or others that designers have infringed on their 3d model pages. I'm sure that the Tang Dynasty won't mind sharing the IP for standard playing cards though.

@mtn_labs i’m a model creator. My idea is a levitating globe. The bottom will use bamboo‘s levitating hardware. It will also have a boom that curves around the globe up to the top of the globe, which is where the inductive element will reside and transmit down into the globe to light it up when a sensor determines it is dark. This will serve as a beautiful nightlight that levitate and rotates.

@Cobra1984 I am an idea contributor. I would like to see a chess set where the chess pieces light up when they touch the chess board. This can work for traditional chess pieces or for Star Wars themed pieces or for other themes.
