One of the challenges I kept running into was storing ribbon purchased from discount and craft stores. A lot of it comes without a spool, which means it quickly turns into a tangled mess. To solve that problem, I designed a set of ribbon holders in multiple sizes. Wind the ribbon onto a holder and it stays neat, protected, and ready for your next project. A simple print, but one that has already made my craft supplies much easier to organise. I hope other makers and crafters find it useful too

🖖 New Model Available! As a Star Trek fan and home automation enthusiast, I wanted a more fun way to control my desk lights than a plain NFC sticker. This Star Trek-inspired NFC tag holder lets you hide an NFC tag inside the print and trigger your favourite automations with a tap of your phone. Mine turns my HomeKit desk lights on and off. The model includes a pause at Layer 14 for NFC tag insertion. Live long and prosper!

This stand came about as part of a design challenge on a Facebook Group. I reckon it was a pretty good way to spark some creative thinking, outside of my usual routine. It was dead set fun to base this on my favourite TV show, Star Trek. This is a cute little phone stand that’s inspired by Star Trek! I designed it to be small so you can easily carry it around, giving you a stand with a bit of character that’s always by your side. Plus, you can always make it bigger if you need more space.

I like to use this as a fun way to get people excited: It’s not a big deal to try and not succeed; it’s even worse not to try at all. I’m all about encouraging people to give it a shot and learn from any stumbles along the way. I created this to have a constant visual reminder of this.

This is my first go at making a 3D model! I’m trying to create a box that’s a bit more robust than the one the slices come in. It’s also been a great opportunity to play around with Fusion and learn a fair bit about how it works.
