Not everyone has the ability to paint, Cerakote, or spray parts in a space where they can freely walk around the object. In many cases, the painter is stationary and needs precise control over the part itself, rather than moving around it. This jig is designed specifically for that scenario.

My Steelcase Karman kept cracking at the same side-frame spot because I’m 6’5”, 250 lbs, and often lean back/sideways while working. After multiple replacements, I designed this reinforcement clip to stop that break. Printed in PLA Pro (6 walls, 65% infill) and installed with the bed side facing inward, it’s held up for nearly two years with no issues. Sharing it so others can fix the same problem.

I had a Trailgate outback tailgate table on my old jeep wrangler 2021 JL … and then when moving to the 2024 4xe… i found that the grommet fasteners are NOT reusable! (when you rip them out - you can't reuse them). i tried looking all over for replacements. But none of them worked proper. The prior versions all work fine - with just plain pLA. But if you print silk PLA or any other materials, i found them to break and crack easy… i made some small revisions to strengthen the base and clip a bit and let the filament sit better. this should print easier.
