I have had countless experiences of shifting into the small chainring on my bike to prepare for a big climb, only to have to pull over and re-attach my chain because it has fallen off! I designed this piece in OpenSCAD to guide the chain onto the small chainring if it goes too far, and made it parametric so it should work for any bike that has a cylindrical seat tube!
