Hello, I'm LeopardGeckoGuy. I started my 3d printing journey in 2022 with a Flashforge Adventurer 3. And since then I have grown to having 2 Bambu Lab A1 Mini’s, a Bambu Lab A1, and my Flashforge. I have a leopard gecko named Skittles (which is why I chose the name LeopardGeckoGuy), and I also have a golden lab, Trixie. I started making models a couple years ago using Tinkercad. So I’m still trying to learn and improve. I mainly use Fusion360 to design now, but l still use Tinkercad every once in a while. I upload occasionally. Follow to know when I do!

P2S Full Review
P2S Full ReviewIntroduction:Over the past month(ish) I have been testing my new P2S to the fullest of my capabilities. I'm now past 150 print hours and I could not be happier with how everything has been going. I feel like 150 print hours is a good point to make a full review but let me know in the comments If I should make a 250, 500, 1000, etc. full review. I am always committed to making sure that I keep you guys updated on anything that happens whether it be problems I'm having with my P2S, cool tips and tricks I found, or anything else. I hope this review helps anyone who's considering buying a P2S, has already bought a P2S and what's to learn something new, or if someone is just curious about the P2S. This review is here to help you. Of course I am just one person and there may be issues that other people have had that I haven't or tips and tricks that I don't know and someone else doesn't. But the point of this review is just to give you a basic synopsis of my experience and what I've run into or learned. Alright now that the introductions out of the way let's get into the real stuff.First Impressions/Unboxing:Even before unboxing this printer it looks nice. The packaging is minimalistic but still gives good detail on what's packed inside (yes I am reviewing the packaging right now). There's a Bambu Lab logo plastered on each side and a plastic sticker on the front that gives you more information on the contents within. I would recommend not leaving it out for too long as it could get stolen since it has all that information. It is quite a hefty printer. I'm pretty built (not really) so getting it inside was a breeze. But I did ask another person to help me getting it down into it's little nook in my basement. Right when opening the box there's some nice bubble wrap which you can save for later to pop and then the printer inside a plastic bag. You have to lift the bag out which was quite nerve wracking for me but that bag is quite strong. I'm not going to get into the nitty gritty about how to set it up and assemble since there's a wiki guide for that. But base line it's super easy. It probably took me less than 30 minutes to get it inside, down to the basement, unpacked, and set up. And right after setting it up I just stared at it for a bit. Bambu Lab did SUCH a good job with the design. The industrial grey is beautiful and the tinted glass and silver highlights add a very nice little pop. It is definitely the most beautiful printer I have ever owned. First Prints:Of course right off the bat my first print was a Benchy because what kind of 3d printing nerd would I be if it wasn't. After that was out of the way I moved onto some accessories for the P2S. You can check out all of the growing list of accessories I would recommend for the P2S right here. All of the accessories in that collection have been personally printed, installed, and tested by me and have checked all the boxes. After the first few necessary accessories like a fan diffuser, PTFE tube guide (which I would very much recommend printing if you don't want to get PTFE tube residue on your top glass), and a USB plug I started mixing in more playful models too. I printed a collapsing drill sword, a mini Porsche 911(930) turbo, and a Rage Hammer. I also designed and printed a P2S purge bin which you can find here. AMS 2 Pro:Before I get to the printer I wanted to also address the AMS 2 Pro since it's an integral part of everything. If you didn't get the combo or just aren't interested you can skip below but I think this part is important. Right out of the box the AMS 2 Pro matches the sleek design that the P2S has. The tinted plastic once again gives it an industrial flare and the silver accents compliment it. And the information lights on the inside are the cherry on top. It definitely has a premium feel. The lock/unlock flaps have a nice texture on them and the entire thing feels rigid. But it's what's on the inside that counts. The feeding motors are extremely fast. So fast in fact that the first time I loaded filament in I panicked and unplugged the printer because I thought something was going wrong. It's SCARY fast. For anyone who hasn't had an AMS system before the RFID filament identification is very nice. But to users like me who have several AMS Lite's it's not anything new. One of the best underrated features in my opinion is the filament usage tracker. It's very nice to know an estimate of how much each roll of filament has left and with the new Bambu Handy update those stats are taken to the next level. The drying function is also so lovely. It nice to have the peace of mind that my wet filament isn't going to ruin my printer. And apparently the desiccants work hard to because mine turned black only 2 weeks in. Everything has worked flawlessly with the AMS 2 pro excluding two issues I had. One, a tiny filament piece got jammed inside the internal filament hub and made it not able to load any filament in. This fix just involved disassembling the entire thing, having a mental breakdown after losing a screw, finding the screw, and reassembling the entire thing minus a tiny green piece of filament. The second incident was related to the first incident and was almost definetly user error. A couple days later I tried drying some filament but when it went through all of it's checks it gave me an error notice that magnetic air vent A was not connected. I tried restaring the printer and that didn't work. And then I disassembled the main base (yet again) and found that it was just unplugged. My best idea on what happened was that during the original assembly I unplugged it and forgot to plug it back in. But there might be a chance that it was something else. Overall 2 issues is not bad. Especially considering how common and minor they were. No replacement parts or hours of disassembly. It was all pretty straightforward. So that brings my final rating of the AMS 2 Pro to a 9.8/10. Everything is amazing but those two issues were a bit more of a hassle then I'd like. Granted that back in the olden day's of 3d printing failures were a lot more common. But one of the main market points of all Bambu Lab products is they are beginner friendly. And I wouldn't want some beginner returning his AMS because of something like this. That is the only reason it is not a 10/10. Nice job Bambu Lab!The P2S:Now we've finally gotten to the printer itself. I just gotta say right of the bat that it is a definite 10/10. I only had 1 extremely minor problem and besides that everything has run smooth as butter. The P2S has so many great new features that just take it up a notch. The AI detection is super nice for peace of mind printing. The feature I've used most often is bed plate detection which I'd use whenever I forgot to change the build plate from textured to engineering in the slicer. But spaghetti detection has also come in handy too. I got a 0.2mm nozzle for the P2S and during testing I could not produce a single model. It kept detaching from the build plate. I will try again with more glue, slower speeds, and more basic models but the spaghetti detection came in handy. Instead of wasting 50 grams of filament and 3 hours of time I just wasted 25 grams and 1 and a half hours of time. I haven't had to use the AI features very much which is good in part. And besides those issues with the 0.2mm nozzle I have only had1 other print failure. It happened  when I was printing a Dummy 13 some of the parts wouldn't stick to the build plate. That's quite well for a printer. Everything else has been absolutely flawless as you can see in the pictures. I've printed with a handful of materials also. PETG worked perfectly, ABS printed great, TPU had no problems, and PLA which I use most common has been amazing to print with. But at the same time it's the little things that matter. The touchscreen is pretty much like a tiny iPhone. Super responsive, big, vibrant colors. Every part of it is amazing. And the software itself is also amazing. I love the little messages it has on the home screen and how easy it is to navigate and start a print. The entire layout is well crafted and it's jam packed with other features. But to be honest one of my favorite features is one most wouldn't expect. If you turn on energy saving mode for lighting the printer and AMS will go into a sort of sleep mode and it doesn't even look like it's on. But right when you open the door everything lights up and turns on again. I know it's a strange favorite feature. But I just love it. Speed is amazing on the P2S. Ludicrous mode is insane and it's fast even on normal. The Core XY system is quite jaw dropping for a long time bed slinger user. I still don't fully understand how everything works but it's truly amazing. The pop out filament color is wicked cool and the poop chute hasn't gotten clogged once. The improved live view camera and lighting is a game changer. Actually being able to see how prints are turning out is amazing and I love the feature that sends a snapshot to you of the print bed once your print is finished. Like I said earlier, it's the little details that matter. I've also noticed that the print startup time is WAY faster than the A1 series printers. Since it doesn't do flow calibration as often and it has quick vibration compensation it usually starts up to a minute earlier than my other printers if I send jobs to them all around the same time. The build of the printer truly feels high quality. The glass door and top make it feel extra premium and the build itself feels solid. The internal filter is also a nice peace of mind. I know a lot of people have complained that it isn't a true air purifier but going from a completely open printer that sprays out fumes whenever it wants to a printer that is fully enclosed and at least filters and recirculates the air is definitely an upgrade. The active cooling system is also a sweet upgrade. The handles that double as air vents are super cool and there are definitely improvements in print quality with the aux fan. It's super fun to manually switch the heating mode back in forth. You hear the little sound and the printer shakes a tiny bit. I don't know. It's just a cool little feature. Now the only minor issue I had was squeaking from the printer which seems to be a very common issue in that a certain part of the printer isn't lubed well enough when it ships from the factory. But that was an easy fix. The hardest part was finding where the squeaking was coming from. It seems to differ from printer to printer but in case it helps anyone I'll put an image below of where I had to re-lube. Like I said earlier it's a minor issue. Conclusion:Well that just about sums everything up. In case you missed it I give the printer a 10/10 and the AMS 2 pro a 9.8/10. So really good ratings across the board. I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone that want's a mid range (price wise) 3d printer with a decent sized build volume, multicolor, and just peace of mind.
