Have to show some love for the Makerworld parametric model maker, which lets you make customisable models. I wrote Openscad code to generate a link style watch strap for my Qwatch project. Works perfectly but not a great end user / non-Openscad user experience. I imported the code into the Makerworld parametric model maker, it automatically generated the menus based on the parameters in the code. ❤️ Just set the number of links in each end of the strap and the pin tolerance and then the model is ready to generate / download. Qwatch project launching very soon!.... https://makerworld.com/en/crowdfunding/273-qwatch-the-customisable-smartwatch

I’ve spent the last couple of months with my head down, desiging and refining this - a 3D printed smartwatch based on a $25 ESP32 board with touchscreen. Has 6 ‘themes’, each with it’s own case and digital and analogue watch face. Is also completely customisable and runs on custom firmware I wrote. Thanks to the superb skills of a photographer friend, this is not AI, just awesomely real photography. I’ve designed 2 strap types, a print in place link strap and a sports band one for printing in TPU. I also built parametric models for them which work in the Makerworld parametric model generator to make straps in any size (which is a really cool tool tbh!)

This is my entry into the current Makerworld hiking gadgets contest. This is my design of a Bagnold Solar Compass. It's a fully functioning navigational aid, the only problem with this type of compass was having to lug around a giant book of azimuth tables to know exactly where the sun was. Fortunately, we now have technology so I wrote an app to go with the compass that generates the tables for any place and any time on Earth. You can then print these tables out and you're good to go exploring! The compass has a drawer to store the gnomon (the pointy bit!) and the printed tables. Hope you like it! Hope you like it!

Hi all, Fairly new to this and looking for tips on how to improve the visibility of my models on here overall. I only have a couple and am just starting out so I appreciate it's difficult to get seen amongst the 000's of brilliant models on here! Here is my latest creation I made with my wife... The S'not Fairy (cos you know - life?.. s'not fair) She comes in 8 pieces that just slot together. There is an AMS and a single colour version whch can be printed in 1hr 20mins at full size.

Greetings all. My wife and are are new to the Bambu ecosystem, been 3D printing about 10yrs now. We're desiging a series of characters that reflect the day to day struggles people may have and hopefully give them a fun and postive spin. Our first is Wotif, though you've probably met him already! He's that nagging voice that often seems to make you question yourself. So - we made a cage for the Wotif too so you can lock him up! We're thrilled to have had 70+ makes / downloads and several 5* feedback since we launched him last week. Please do let us know your thoughts - and any other characters you'd like to see! https://makerworld.com/en/models/1102400#profileId-1097815
