I designed this passive semi-hydroponic planter after learning about aeroponics and hydroponics—growing methods that seem to produce faster and healthier growth as compared to traditional soil. I struggled to find models for my idea, so I designed my own! My goal was to bring hydroponic/aeroponic benefits to my indoor plants in a simple, low-maintenance way. The result is this passive semi-hydroponic setup, and it’s been a fun way to try something new with my houseplants.

Based on feedback from my smaller self-water watering planters, I've designed a medium-sized self-watering planter that incorporates a built-in water intake on the tray! This sized planter should accommodate mid-sized plants such as a maturing pothos, a young monstera, or even some snake plant cuttings!

I designed this is round self-watering plant pot to elegantly display my indoor plants while keeping maintenance low and reducing my risk of overwatering them. I put quite a bit of thought and intention into this design, so I hope you all can enjoy it as well!
