Bio
Electrical engineer and project manager by profession, maker at heart. I’m passionate about 3D printing, laser cutting, and just about every DIY manufacturing process. My workshop includes multiple 3D printers, a CO₂ laser, a 3D scanner, and tools for routing and woodworking. I enjoy designing in 3D, printing mainly in ABS, acetone vapor smoothing, making silicone molds, and constantly experimenting with new techniques. I love turning ideas into real objects and sharing practical solutions with the maker community.
I designed these accessories to turn my Wooden Filament Storage Boxes into a complete organization system. The set includes hinges, snap locks, reusable filament cards, and card holders for both the boxes and the Bambu Lab AMS. I even added numbered cards, so I always know which storage box belongs to which AMS slot. No more guessing where a spool came from or where it should go back.

I built this because my filament storage was getting messy and I wanted a simple, consistent system. The wooden box is designed for 4 mm plywood (≈3.75 mm), uses finger joints for strength, and sands down to a clean finish. It fits standard spools and vacuum bags. I also added a small ecosystem with filament cards and AMS slot labeling, so I always know where everything belongs and can keep it organized long-term.

I designed this for a friend who struggled with the original Supermatic release lever. When you bend down to open it, you tend to lose pressure on the heel, making the release difficult and awkward. This extension changes the motion so you push backwards instead of downwards. That way you stay more stable on the board and don’t need to bend over as much. It’s a small ergonomic improvement that makes the release feel more natural in real riding conditions.
