Description

During assembly, you might encounter interference fits where tolerances are too tight, making parts difficult to join. Forcing them—even with a bit of "technique"—often results in damaging the model.

I primarily print with PLA because I have a large stock I need to use up. Since PLA has relatively poor heat resistance, I had a "lightbulb moment": why not soften the parts slightly before assembly?

After extensive testing, I've confirmed this method works perfectly, so I’ve filmed this video to share the process with you.

⚠️ WARNING: Please ensure your heating equipment is properly calibrated for accurate temperature control and take precautions to avoid burns.
