Extended Low Profile Furniture Connector with Locking Mechanism

I remixed the original Low Profile Furniture Connector to better fit the needs of my Home Salon Mikado sectional sofa. The original design was created for easy movement and secure locking of modular furniture sections, but I needed a solution for when the sofa sections are spaced much further apart.

Key Modifications:

• Extended Length: I lengthened the connector to accommodate the increased distance between the sections of my Home Salon Mikado sofa, ensuring a secure and stable connection even when the pieces are far apart.
• Added Locking Mechanism: To prevent the link from accidentally disengaging from the triangle, I incorporated a lock. This ensures the connector stays in place, providing extra security and stability.

Features:

• Designed to fit under most furniture pieces, with a low profile of about 7mm.
• The locking mechanism is easy to use: simply push the link into the pins at a straight angle. The lock can be released by lifting the edge with the triangle pins upwards.
• For best results, install the pins and locks accurately, ensuring they are the same distance from the front/back of the furniture and square with the edges.

Installation Notes:

• Predrill holes for the wood screws to ensure a strong and secure fit.
• This print requires 1x M4 x 6mm screw / 1x M5 x 6 mm screw / 1x M5 nut / 8 x 5/8" wood screws.
