Heat Insert Press
Print Profile(6)

Description
This is a heat insert press.
Materials other than 3D prints
General purpose PVC pipe VP13, 24cm, 3 pieces (any with an outer diameter of 18mm can be used.)
Soldering iron fixing screw M4 20MM (nut also required)
Double-sided tape or adhesive for heat insert press fixing
After much trial and error and making a lot of waste, this model was created. (See photos)
By using commercially available PVC pipes, printing on A1 mini was made possible, and material reduction, durability, and sturdiness were improved.
Springs of 1, 1.5, and 2mm were prepared, but 2mm is recommended.
Considering the stroke range, longer springs were also prepared.
Also, two types of intermediate spring supports were prepared: one with M4 screws cut and one with pilot holes for heat inserts (for M4).
Since soldering iron sizes differ by manufacturer, two types are available: for 25mm diameter and 20mm diameter.
(Those available on Aliexpress were 20mm for digital displays and 25mm for analog. If the temperature setting is too high, it may string or melt the resin too much, so we recommend digital display models.)
