I've been dealing with neighbors throwing trash in my recyclables bins, so I created this simple way to make it more difficult for them to do it again. It is quite easy to release the hooks from the bins, so it's not really a lock, but something that will at least make them use someone else's bin. It also may help with raccoons or other animals that try to steal your trash.
