Does anybody know what this circle thing is on my A1?

For the past year I have been ustlizsing the charger stand as a base to hold my Oral-B toothbrush. The long cord attached to the stand made it not fit too well in the corner that it was setting in, so I created this 3D print of a stand for the Oral-B toothbrush.
