I was trying to make a magnet from models already available but it was difficult converting solids to mesh and back again and editing and all that. I wasted an hour or so trying to be "smart and efficient" then I realized I could just make my own model. In doing so I spent way less time and had a functioning magnet. I use N52 disk magnets so they are strong but I have not had any issues with them (I don't use glue) in my fridge tests.

This 9mm Glock 17 3rd gen frame uses steel rails which can be found at printyour2a.com It requires a 3 pin lower parts kit with a 3 pin locking block. The smaller pin for the locking block is used to secure the front rail. Any 3rd gen g17 slide and barrel can be used.
