I’ve spent many years around 3D modelling in the VFX film industry, long before owning a 3D printer. Buying one was a fairly spontaneous decision, but I was quickly hooked. I’m continually impressed by how capable and accessible modern 3D printing has become, and how easily ideas turn into physical objects. My background is mostly Maya, but for printing I’m learning Fusion 360 and enjoying the shift in thinking it requires. There’s still a lot to learn, which is part of the appeal. Based in Australia, focusing on practical, compact designs and improving them with each iteration.
