We’re a school-based Introduction to Engineering program where students learn the engineering design process through hands-on 3D modeling and printing. Using Onshape, our students explore how ideas turn into real designs, testing, iterating, and learning along the way. We are currently in our second year, and this is just the beginning of our adventure. We’re having a lot of fun learning and loving the process, and we’re excited to keep growing and helping students move toward more advanced designs soon. Please support our students by liking or boosting their designs. Thank you!

Printed tons of these for my students and teachers friends. I like them too. I'll update with pictures soon. Silk doesn't do as well for me, but regular PLA worked great.

My first TPU print! I plan to print more. The first one already disappeared from my classroom. Darn kids. I would be willingly to print all of them one. it just takes time. I’ll post more pictures soon!

#Points I'm teaching HS students CAD skills and the engineering design process through 3D modeling and printing. I'm only in my 2nd year and I still have much to learn. I have starting adding some of their prints and I need to add more to our account. Suggestions on designs and how to's to help build points to help get GC's to support their learning.

Adorable! Do you have suggestions to help remove supports so that I don't mess up the heart? I test printed 4 and when removing the supports under the chin I scratched the heart on 2 of them. I plan to see if I can paint those spots.

Increased the size just a little. It worked out great for what I needed.

Worked great until I folded all the way and the hinge connections broke. Did I miss those instructions or what do you suggest?

This Hexa Spike Holder is one of my learning projects as I explore design, 3D modeling and 3D printing. It’s simple, customizable, and versatile—perfect for classroom or everyday use. Feedback and makes are welcome!

I could not get the 1st place to print. I slowed down the speed too. It could be due to using silk. I will test again later. I would love to see the wings a little thicker for better printing. I printed the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with just the 3rd place piston.

This is one of a student’s first CAD designs. It’s intentionally simple, but it represents a major milestone: turning a digital sketch into a real, usable object. Thanks for supporting student makers as they learn and grow.

Great idea. Design improvement would be to keep at least one clip side to stay on so they don't just fly off. I had to file one end so it wasn't as hard to take them off, but I used an older filament for my box.

Great design! I printed 5 for Christmas. They are a challenge. I don't k now how to adjust the setting yet, but I would recommend a higher infill for the threads. Most of the kids broke it off. Next time, I will tell them they have to twist the top.
