I'm proud of how this lamp came out. It almost looks surreal with how nicely it prints. Let me know if you feel the same, or maybe if not!

Have spent some time on this model so figured I'd share. Anyone who goes to card shows or just carries toploaders around may find this handy! Pokemon themed but fits ultra pro toploaders so could be used for any variety of trading cards.

This thing is great. Functional prints like this are my favorite kind of print. I happened to have some perfect screws left over from an old ikea build. Attached it right to the bottom of my desk. Things that impressed me about this model: 1. It fits the shape of the m4 mac mini perfectly. Just enough clearance to slide right in and have no wiggle room. 2. Only used 70g of filament, yet feels very sturdy and wouldn’t want it any heavier. I think it has the right balance of strength and efficient material use. A lot of cool looking models just use way too much filament, not this one. 3. There is a little clearance above the mac mini when it sits in the mount. I’m not sure if it was intentional or just because it helps to slide it in initially, but that clearance allows for good heat dissipation out of the top of the mac, which does act as a heatsink. Overall, lovely model and thanks to the designer.

I’m extremely impressed with the quality and look of this model. It is really a sleek design, and it printed nearly flawlessly. There is very minor stringing between the holes in the pattern, but I honestly don’t know if that is avoidable since they are such fine holes. You can’t tell from any normal distance. Overall detail is awesome and it really adds to the look of my desk.

It may be my filament/print settings but the first time I printed this in matte white Sunlu PLA, it came out well but not perfect. The threads on the screw-in bit were really tight and required a screwdriver to get in. There are also many small defects in the smoothness of the layers and other aspects of all parts of the print. Nonetheless, the copter flies essentially perfectly. I reprinted with some basic PLA that came with my a1 mini and it looks a lot smoother, and the screw was easier to get in, I was able to do it by hand. So again, it is probably a settings and filament issue and not the model itself. I’m giving four stars, however, because the pull-handle is just too high and there is no space to properly fit my hand in. I could launch it higher if the hole was lower and had more clearance. That’s my only real complaint, but everyone who tried it had the same complaint so I think it could be considered a flaw.
