#2024 Annual Summary There as been so many cool things that have happened in 2024, but one that I want to mention is this coffee station that I designed and made. I got a Bambu A1 in September, and have fallen in love with printing. I also started to learn how ot 3D designed and started making my own models. When Bambu announced that they were having a coffee station design contest, I thought I would give it a go. I love coffee, and I had been learning how to 3D design. I am definitly NOT a expert in 3D design, but I spend soem time and came up with this coffee station for pour over. The hinge was a HUGE challenge for me, but I eventually got it. I submitted it to the contest, and I was BLOWN away when I heard that I placed in the contest and got a $40 gift card. I thought it was SOOOOO cool that someone like me, who is new to this and not a expert, could still make something cool and place in a contest. This was just so encouraging to me that really anyone can 3D print and anyone can learn to 3D model and make their own things. So to anyone who is reading this, I just want to encourage you to make whatever you think is cool and then share it with the 3D community. #2024 Annual Summary 2024 has been a amazing year of 3D printing. I got my first Bambu printer, a A1, and have absolutely loved it! I have put over 1000 hours on this pritner, and recently got a A1 mini as well. One print that brought me a extra amount of satisfaction and achievement is this drain snake that I made. I need a drain snake, and instead of buying one off of Amazon, I figured I could design and make one myself. So after some time spend in Onshape, I made this guy. Printed super easy and it worked great. I though that I would go ahead and share if on Makerworld. I was blown away with the success this model brought. People seem to really like it, getting over 200 downloads and 150 prints. This just blows my mind that so many people have used a model that I made. This has inspired me to start making a bunch of other models as well. So thank you to everyone who has downloaded my model and I look forward to making more cool things.
