A decorative openwork tray for keys, coins, and everyday clutter.

Give the daily pile of keys, rings, coins, and pocket clutter a home worth looking at. This catchall pairs a solid base — so nothing small slips through — with openwork trellis walls in a Moroccan-style lattice that catches the light and turns "a heap of stuff" into a little piece of decor. It looks right at home on an entryway console, a desk, a nightstand, or a bathroom vanity. Roughly 18 × 12.5 cm and about 3 cm tall, and it prints flat in one piece on any FDM printer.

Print Profiles Included

One plate, one print: the complete tray in a single piece. No supports, no assembly — just slice, print, and fill it up.

Printing Recommendations

  • Material: PLA is ideal. I printed it in Bambu PLA Basic (cocoa brown) and PLA Wood (ivory)
  • Colors: Go warm and cozy in brown, or natural and airy in an ivory / wood-tone filament. It's a single color per tray, so there's no AMS or multi-color setup needed.
  • Layer height: 0.16mm For perfect ballance between speed an looks.
  • Supports: 100% support-free. The trellis walls are tuned to bridge cleanly without a scrap of support.
  • Infill: 10–15% is plenty. I printed it at 15% gyroid, which keeps the base nice and sturdy.

Good to Know

The solid base is perfect for small metal bits — keys, rings, coins, watches, cufflinks. If you'll use it on a nice surface, a few stick-on felt dots underneath keep everything scratch-free. Want a bigger or smaller one? A tray like this scales up or down beautifully — just adjust the size in your slicer before printing.
