Axolotl Cave/Planter

Axolotls seek out shadows, due to not having eyelids. This simple platform has rounded legs, to eliminate sharp edges, and a recessed tray for gravel and plants. The PLA will break down over time if left untreated but we've had pretty good luck so far with other designs.

I've added some pics of it in a tank. All that's being used to weigh it down is some sand and gravel. And the Axolotl's seem to really like it!
