Description

 

This is a functioning model of an 1824 Chubb detector lock. Watch the video to learn more!

 

Required Parts:

  • (1) 25mm x 5mm metal dowel (Glue into frame - the key rotates on this dowel)
  • (2) 30mm x 5mm metal dowel (The detector and levers rotate on these dowels)
  • (4) M4xH6xD6 Threaded Inserts
  • (4) M4x8 Screws

Materials Used in Video:

  • All Filament is PETG: Hatchbox Silver, Prusament Jungle Green, Prusament Chalky Blue, Hatchbox Red, Hatchbox Gold
  • Glue is JB Weld Plastic Bonder

Keying Guide:

  • There are 24 different keys corresponding to the 24 possible combinations of the 4 levers. Refer to the Keying Guide PDF to determine which lever order and key you want to use.
