I run Diode Lasers for engraving and cutting on my CNC machine
OptLaser XT-8 & XT50
The manufacturer recommends 15-20 L/min of air flow for optimal performance
I had some valves to limit flow rate down to what I thought was that 15-20 L/min but I was WAY off – still sending way too much air volume
To get a more accurate reading I decided to add a proper Air Gas Flowmeter to my setup.
Make sure to get the model below or similar that measures the range of flow we care about. In this case I went with 2-20L/min
These seemingly standard meters don't come with an easy way to mount them and I didn't see anything pre made that met my needs and I didn't want to just tape this in place.
I designed and 3D printed this model. It works great!

Assembly Instructions:
Print model per profile
Press fit or glue if needed the 10x3mm magnets into the molded holes in model
Remove junky plastic airline fittings that came with meter
Slide the printed holder in place (center of the meter)
Install the push to connect fittings
Attached meter to your CNC's metal frame
Attach air line, apply air and adjust your flow rate
