Summary

This is a life-size replica of the famous WWII 88mm Tiger Tank shell (also used by Tiger II and King Tiger).  This is the armor-piercing variant of the tank shell known as the PzGr.39 APCBC (Armor Piercing, Capped, Ballistic Capped).

The numbers are printed separately and inserted with ease, so no color changes are needed to print those colorful numbers.

Bambu filaments used

  • Metal Iron Gray Black
  • Matte Red
  • Matte White
  • Silk Silver

Assembly is super easy

Simply screw the parts together and put the top on with the provided peg, like you see below:

Then insert the text into the corresponding holes.  Make sure you shine a light into the holes and make sure all the support material is removed before inserting the text.  Its also a good idea to keep track of the order of the text and insert right after removing the letters from the plate.  Ensure that the curved side is facing out.

Optional Brass Casing

Simply screw the pieces together and then insert the round into the top.

Note: if you are printing this casing to fit the older v1 88mm round that was previously released, then print the adapter in addition to the casing so it fits more snugly.

Boost Me (for free)

If you enjoy my work and would like to help support my ability to share more (and even better) models in the future, please consider boosting or buying me a coffee at the link below.   Your support is what helps me have enough filament and supplies to do all the print testing required for my models to be high quality and easy to assemble.  It takes a mountain of test prints for each model. Thanks :-)

Here's a link to my Buy Me a Coffee page, thanks for the support!
