Description

I have worked on teaching my Grandson modeling and also how to use slicer to do things, this is a tutorial model and video to show people a few tips and how to make a Shelfy sitting figurine, sometimes called Buddy's or object with articulated Legs, we have all seen them. the model attached has a few different versions of articulated legs and solid arms.  you can easily make your own articulated sitting figurine by following these steps and you will learn a couple of the easy things in Bambu Studio along the way.

I hope you enjoy and if you ever need help with anything, just message us, he and I love to help people and see them grow with the Hobby, don't worry, there are no dumb questions, that's how we all learn.

We designed everything in this on Fusion and made the shoes look kind of like boots and also added a platform style shoe as well.

Enjoy the attached video tutorial:

Maybe it's just me but the stl files do not open

They are STP files, perhaps your computer doesn't associate them with Bambu studio, if that is what you are trying to use. You can open a new project in studio and import them in. I went and downloaded them all and they opened fine for me, but I have them already associated with Bambu Studio, Perhaps try what I said and import them. This is the same as the Add button, the top left most icon on the toolbar in the prepare tab

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought they were stl files which is why I can’t open them.

You should be able to open them in studio just like stl files. Are you trying to open them in something else?

You are going to have to give me more details on what you mean. The arms are in the model and there are several other models of just the arms in the file. Send me a picture of what you printed
